Bhīṣma’s Fall, the Arrow-bed (śara-talpa), and the Establishment of Guard
ध्रुवमास्थाय बीभत्सुरुत्तमास्त्राणि संयुगे | अपास्यान्यान् रणे योधानभ्येष्यति पितामहम्
dhruvam āsthāya bībhatsur uttamāstrāṇi saṁyuge | apāsyānyān raṇe yodhān abhy eṣyati pitāmaham ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: “Tila tiyak na si Arjuna, na matatag na sasandig sa kaniyang pinakamahuhusay na sandata sa gitna ng labanan, ay itataboy ang ibang mga mandirigma mula sa larangan at saka susugod upang harapin mismo ang matandang si Bhīṣma.”
