भीष्मस्य शरवर्षः — Bhīṣma’s Arrow-Storm and Kṛṣṇa’s Impulse to Intervene
चेकितानो महाबाहु: कुन्तिभोजश्न वीर्यवान् । स्थिता रणे महाराज महत्या सेनया वृता:,महाराज! शिखण्डी, अर्जुन, राक्षस घटोत्कच, महाबाहु चेकितान तथा पराक्रमी कुन्तिभोज--ये विशाल सेनासे घिरे हुए वीर युद्धभूमिमें यथायोग्य स्थानपर खड़े थे
sañjaya uvāca |
cekitāno mahābāhuḥ kuntibhojaś ca vīryavān |
sthitā raṇe mahārāja mahatyā senayā vṛtāḥ ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: “O dakilang Hari, si Cekitāna na makapangyarihan ang mga bisig at ang matapang na si Kuntibhoja ay nanatiling matatag sa labanan, napaliligiran ng malaking hukbo.”
संजय उवाच
Even in war, dharma expresses itself as disciplined conduct: warriors take their rightful stations, act with steadiness, and uphold kṣatriya responsibility without descending into chaos or cruelty.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Cekitāna and Kuntibhoja are standing on the battlefield, surrounded by a large force—part of the broader description of troop placements and readiness in the Bhīṣma Parva war scene.
