भीष्म-पर्व अध्याय १०० — त्रिगर्त-आक्रमण, भीष्म-केन्द्रित पुनर्संयोजन, तथा शक्त्यस्त्र-विनिमय
स त्वं शीघ्रमितो गत्वा भीष्मस्य शिबिरं प्रति अनुमान्य गुरुं वृद्ध शस्त्र न्यासय भारत,भारत! अतः तुम शीघ्र ही यहाँसे भीष्मजीके शिविरमें जाकर अपने उन पूजनीय वृद्ध पितामहको राजी करके उनसे हथियार रखवा दो
sa tvaṁ śīghram ito gatvā bhīṣmasya śibiraṁ prati anumānya guruṁ vṛddha śastra-nyāsaya bhārata bhārata
Wika ni Karna: “Kaya ikaw—magmadali kang umalis dito at tumungo sa kampo ni Bhishma. Pag napapayag mo ang iginagalang na matandang guro, ipababa mo sa kanya ang sandata, O Bharata.”
