यान् समुद्दिश्य संकल्प: पयसो<स्य कृतो मया । पितरस्ते महाभागास्तेभ्यो बुद्धयस्व गम्यताम्,मैंने जिन पितरोंके उद्देश्यसे इस दूधका संकल्प किया था, वे महाभाग पितर ही उसके स्वामी हैं। जाओ, उन्हींसे इस विषयमें समझो
yān samuddiśya saṅkalpaḥ payaso 'sya kṛto mayā | pitaras te mahābhāgās tebhyo buddhyasva gamyatām ||
Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: “Ang mga pinagpalang Pitṛ—ang mga ninunong banal—na siyang pinag-ukulan ko ng taimtim na panata tungkol sa gatas na ito, sila ang tunay na dapat tumanggap nito. Humayo ka; doon mo hanapin ang pag-unawa sa bagay na ito.”
