Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
मरुत्त उवाच कच्चिच्छीमान् देवराज: सुखी च कच्चिच्चास्मान् प्रीयते धूमकेतो । कच्चिद्दवेवा अस्य वशे यथावत् प्रब्रृहि त्वं मम कार्त्स्न्येन देव
Marutta uvāca: kaccic chrīmān devarājaḥ sukhī ca kaccic cāsmān prīyate dhūmaketo | kaccid devā asya vaśe yathāvat prabrūhi tvaṁ mama kārtsnyena deva ||
Wika ni Marutta: “Ang maluwalhating hari ng mga diyos, tunay bang nasa kaginhawahan at ligaya? O Dhūmaketu, nalulugod ba siya sa amin? At ang lahat ba ng mga diyos ay nararapat na nananatili sa ilalim ng kanyang utos? O banal na nilalang, sabihin mo sa akin ang lahat nang ganap at tumpak.”
