इत्युक्त: स कुरुश्रेष्ठ: प्रीतात्मा भ्रातृभि: सह
ity uktaḥ sa kuruśreṣṭhaḥ prītātmā bhrātṛbhiḥ saha
Sa gayon, nang masabihan, ang pinakadakila sa mga Kuru—puspos ng galak ang puso—ay nanatiling kasama ng kanyang mga kapatid, tinanggap ang mga salita nang may kasiyahan at pagkakaisa.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical value of concord: when counsel or instruction is received rightly, the leader’s inner joy is expressed through unity with his brothers—suggesting harmony, shared purpose, and collective responsibility in dharmic governance.
Vaiśampāyana narrates a brief transition: after someone speaks to the Kuru leader, he responds not with conflict but with pleased composure, remaining together with his brothers—signaling agreement and a settled course of action.
