Transliteration

ity uktaḥ sa tu tejasvī vyāsenāmitabuddhinā | dīkṣāṃ viveśa dharmātmā vājimedhāptaye tataḥ ||

Translation

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Nang siya’y masabihan nang gayon ni Vyāsa na may di-masukat na karunungan, ang haring matuwid at maningning ay pumasok sa dīkṣā—ang panatang pagsisimula—upang maisakatuparan ang paghahain na Aśvamedha.
