ततस्तृतीये दिवसे सत्यवत्यात्मजो मुनि:
tatas tṛtīye divase satyavatyātmajo muniḥ
Pagkaraan, sa ikatlong araw, ang pantas na anak ni Satyavatī (Vyāsa) ay [lumitaw/kumilos], at ipinagpatuloy ang pag-usad ng mga pangyayari sa kapangyarihan ng isang tagakita; ang kanyang pagdating ay hudyat ng isang mapagpasiyang pagliko ng salaysay.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the narrative and ethical weight carried by a muni’s intervention: when a realized sage enters the scene, events are framed under dharma and higher insight, reminding listeners that power and ritual should be guided by wisdom and restraint.
A time marker is given—“on the third day”—and the arrival/role of Satyavatī’s son, the sage Vyāsa, is signaled, indicating a significant development is about to occur under his authoritative presence.
