Vaiśampāyana uvāca | tato gāṇḍīvabhṛcchūro yuddhāya samupasthitaḥ | vibhau yudhi durdharṣo himavānacalo yathā ||

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Pagkaraan nito, si Arjuna, ang bayaning may tangan ng busog na Gāṇḍīva, ay tumindig na handa sa digmaan. Sa gitna ng labanan siya’y nagningning—di-madadaig ng mga kaaway—matatag na parang kabundukang Himalaya.
