तपोवृद्धेन महता सुहृदां भूतिमिच्छता
tapovṛddhena mahatā suhṛdāṃ bhūtim icchatā
Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: “(Ito’y ginawa) ng isang dakilang tao na pinatibay ng matinding pag-aayuno at pagsasakripisyo, at sa marangal na layon ay nagnanais ng kapakanan at kasaganaan ng kanyang mga kaibigan at mabubuting-loob.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
