गौतम उवाच त्वत्प्रीतियुक्तेन मया गुरुशुश्रूषया तव । व्यतिक्रामन्महाकालो नावबुद्धो द्विजर्षभ
Gautama uvāca: tvat-prīti-yuktena mayā guru-śuśrūṣayā tava | vyatikrāman mahā-kālo nāvabuddho dvijarṣabha ||
Wika ni Gautama: “O pinakamainam sa mga dalawang-beses-na-ipinanganak! Dahil sa iyong tapat na paglilingkod sa iyong guro, napuno ako ng pagmamahal sa iyo. Kaya’t lumipas ang napakahabang panahon, ngunit hindi ko man lamang namalayan.”
