Kṛṣṇa’s Departure, Auspicious Omens, and the Opening of the Uttaṅka Dialogue (कृष्णप्रयाण-निमित्त-उत्तङ्कसंवाद-प्रारम्भः)
अहं च प्रीयमाणेन त्वया देवकिनन्दन । यदुक्तस्तत् करिष्यामि न हि मे5त्र विचारणा,“देवकीनन्दन! आपने प्रेमपूर्वक प्रसन्नताके साथ मुझे जो कार्य करनेके लिये कहा है, उसे अवश्य करूँगा; इसमें मुझे कुछ भी विचार नहीं करना है
ahaṁ ca prīyamāṇena tvayā devakīnandana | yad uktaḥ tat kariṣyāmi na hi me 'tra vicāraṇā ||
Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: “O anak ni Devakī, sapagkat kinausap mo ako nang may pag-ibig at mabuting kalooban, tiyak na gagawin ko nang ganap ang iyong ipinag-utos. Sa bagay na ito, wala na akong dapat pang pag-isipan.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights willing, affectionate compliance with a righteous request: when guidance comes from a revered and trusted figure, one may act without hesitation or self-serving calculation, emphasizing loyalty and clarity of duty.
Vaiśampāyana addresses Kṛṣṇa (Devakīnandana), affirming that because Kṛṣṇa has spoken to him with warm approval, he will carry out the requested task exactly as instructed, without further deliberation.
