Brahmopadeśa on Saṃnyāsa, Tapas, and Jñāna (ब्रह्मोपदेशः—संन्यासतपोज्ञानविमर्शः)
यस्तु वेद निराधारं ज्ञानं तत्त्वविनिश्चयात् | सर्वभूतस्थमात्मानं स सर्वगतिरिष्यते
vāyudeva uvāca | yastu veda nirādhāraṃ jñānaṃ tattvaviniścayāt | sarvabhūtastham ātmānaṃ sa sarvagatir iṣyate ||
Sabi ni Vāyudeva: Sinumang, sa ganap na katiyakan sa katotohanan, ay nakakakilala sa sarili (ātman) bilang dalisay na kaalaman—walang sandigan ngunit nananahan sa lahat ng nilalang—ang taong iyon ay itinuturing na nakaabot sa pagiging laganap sa lahat ng dako, malayang lumalampas sa hanggahan sa pamamagitan ng tunay na pagtanaw.
वायुदेव उवाच
Firm discernment of reality leads to realization of the Ātman as pure consciousness, independent of external supports and present in all beings; such realization is described as attaining all-pervasiveness (sarvagati), i.e., freedom from limitation.
Vāyudeva is instructing the listener in a contemplative teaching: true knowledge is not mere information but direct realization of the Self within all beings, presented as the mark of spiritual attainment in this section of the Aśvamedhika Parva.
