अध्वर्यु–यति संवादः
Adhvaryu–Yati Dialogue on Svabhāva, Ahiṃsā, and Mokṣa
तमध्वर्यु: प्रत्युवाच नायं छागो विनश्यति । श्रेयसा योक्ष्यते जन्तुर्यदि श्रुतिरियं तथा
tam adhvaryuḥ pratyuvāca: nāyaṃ chāgo vinaśyati | śreyasā yokṣyate jantur yadi śrutir iyaṃ tathā ||
Sumagot ang paring Adhvaryu: “Hindi mapapahamak ang kambing na ito. Kung totoo ang utos ng Veda (śruti) na nagsasalita tungkol sa ‘hayop na inihahatid (para sa ritwal),’ kung gayon ang nilalang na ito’y mapapabilang sa isang higit na kabutihan.”
