Kuntī–Vyāsa Dialogue on Durvāsā’s Boon and Karṇa’s Birth
स राजा जाह्नवीतीरे यथा ते कथितं मया । तेनाग्निना समायुक्त: स्वेनैव भरतर्षभ
sa rājā jāhnavītīre yathā te kathitaṃ mayā | tenāgninā samāyuktaḥ svenaiva bharatarṣabha ||
Wika ni Nārada: “Ang haring iyon, sa pampang ng Jāhnavī, gaya ng sinabi ko sa iyo, ay nakipag-isa sa mismong apoy na iyon—sa paraang pinili niya sa sarili niyang kalooban, O pinakamainam sa mga Bharata.”
