Vyāsa’s Boon-Offer and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Remorse in the Forest Assembly (आश्रमवासिक पर्व, अध्याय ३६)
यदत्रानन्तरं कार्य तद् भवान् वक्तुमर्हति । इत्युक्त: संजयेनेदं पुनराह स पार्थिव:,“अब इसके बाद क्या करना चाहिये--यह बतानेकी कृपा करें।” संजयके ऐसा कहनेपर राजाने फिर कहा--
yad atrānantaraṃ kāryaṃ tad bhavān vaktum arhati | ity uktaḥ saṃjayenedam punar āha sa pārthivaḥ |
“Ano ang dapat gawin pagkatapos sa bagay na ito—mangyaring ipagkaloob ninyo ang payo.” Nang masabi ito ni Saṃjaya, muling nagsalita ang hari. Ipinahihiwatig ng palitang ito ang tindig na maka-dharma: ang paghanap ng wastong patnubay bago kumilos, at ang pag-una sa pagninilay at pagsangguni kaysa sa bugso ng damdamin.
