धृतराष्ट्रस्य पाण्डवेषु प्रीति-वृत्तान्तः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Affectionate Disposition toward the Pāṇḍavas

अस्य पापस्य शुद्धयर्थ नियतो5स्मि सुदुर्मति: । विशेषत: पंद्रहवें वर्षमें आज मुझ दुर्बुद्धिकी आँखें खुली हैं और अब मैं इस पापकी शुद्धिके लिये नियमका पालन करने लगा हूँ

asya pāpasya śuddhyarthaṁ niyato 'smi sudurmatī

Wika ni Dhṛtarāṣṭra: “Upang malinis ang kasalanang ito, ako—bagaman ligaw ang isip—ay nagbigkis na ngayon sa sarili sa mahigpit na mga pagtalima. Sa wakas ay nabuksan ang aking mga mata, at sinimulan kong sundin ang tuntunin ng pagpipigil upang mapawi ang pagkakasalang ito.”
