येन योगबलाज्जात: कुरुराजो युधिष्ठिर: । धर्म इत्येष नृपते प्राज्ञेनामितबुद्धिना,“जिस अमित बुद्धिमान् और प्राज्ञ देवताने योगबलसे कुरुराज युधिष्ठिरको जन्म दिया था, वह धर्म विदुरका ही स्वरूप है
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
yena yogabalāj jātaḥ kururājo yudhiṣṭhiraḥ |
dharma ityeṣa nṛpate prājñenāmitabuddhinā ||
Wika ni Vaiśaṃpāyana: “O hari, siya na sa pamamagitan ng lakas ng yoga ay nagpasilang kay Yudhiṣṭhira, ang pinunong Kuru—siya ang Dharma mismo, na nagkatawang-tao: ang diyos na pantas, may talinong di-masukat.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse grounds Yudhiṣṭhira’s moral authority in his divine origin: he is born through the yogic potency of Dharma, emphasizing that righteous kingship is not merely political power but an embodiment of ethical order (dharma).
Vaiśampāyana identifies the being responsible for Yudhiṣṭhira’s birth—Dharma—and stresses Dharma’s wisdom and boundless intellect, reinforcing the recognition of Dharma’s presence/manifestation in the unfolding events of the Āśramavāsika narrative.
