धृतराष्ट्रस्य वनप्रस्थानम् — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Departure for Forest Life
प्रयाणं घुष्यतां चैव श्वोभूत इति मा चिरम् । क्रियतां पथि चाप्यद्य वेश्मानि विविधानि च,“नगरमें यह घोषणा करा दी जाय कि “कल खबेरे यात्रा की जायगी; इसलिये चलनेवालोंको विलम्ब नहीं करना चाहिये।” मार्गमें हमलोगोंके ठहरनेके लिये आज ही कई तरहके डेरे तैयार कर दिये जायूँ
prayāṇaṃ ghuṣyatāṃ caiva śvobhūta iti mā ciram | kriyatāṃ pathi cāpyadya veśmāni vividhāni ca ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “Ipalathala agad sa lungsod ang pag-alis: ‘Bukas sa pagsikat ng araw tayo’y lalakbay—kaya huwag magpaliban ang sinuman.’ At ngayong araw din ay ihanda sa daan ang iba’t ibang matutuluyan at pahingahan.”
