iti bāṣpakalā vācaḥ kuntī putrasya śṛṇvatī | sā jagāmāśrupūrṇākṣī bhīmas tām idam abravīt |

Translation

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Nang marinig ni Kuntī ang mga salita ng kanyang anak na putol-putol at nalalabo dahil sa luha, napuno ng pag-iyak ang kanyang mga mata. Ngunit hindi siya tumigil; patuloy siyang lumakad pasulong. Noon ay nagsalita si Bhīmasena sa kanya ng ganito—
