तत:ः प्रचोदिता राज्ञा वन॑ गत्वास्य मन्त्रिण: । प्रचीयोदुम्बराणि सम दातु तेषां प्रचक्रिरे,तब राजाकी प्रेरणासे उनके मन्त्री वनमें गये और गूलरके फल तोड़कर उन्हें देनेकी चेष्टा करने लगे
tataḥ pracoditā rājñā vanaṃ gatvā’sya mantriṇaḥ | pracīyodumbarāṇi samaṃ dātuṃ teṣāṃ pracakrire ||
Wika ni Bhīṣma: Pagkaraan nito, sa udyok ng hari, ang kaniyang mga ministro ay nagtungo sa gubat at nagsimulang mamitas ng mga bungang udumbara (cluster fig), na nagsisikap na ipamahagi ang mga iyon nang pantay sa mga kinauukulan.
भीष्म उवाच
The verse points to dharmic governance through fairness and order: the king’s instruction is executed by ministers, and the act of distributing resources 'equally' (samam) signals an ethical ideal of impartial allocation rather than favoritism.
At the king’s prompting, his ministers go into the forest, collect udumbara fruits, and begin arranging to give them out evenly to the intended recipients, showing the practical implementation of a royal decision.
