नक्षत्रेषु श्राद्धफलविधानम् (Śrāddha Outcomes According to Nakṣatras)
Generous giving (dāna), exemplified here by the gift of gold, is presented as a powerful dharmic act that purifies moral taints (kilbiṣa) and leads to exalted spiritual reward—an elevated status in heaven that is otherwise difficult to attain.
Bhishma cites Rama (Parashurama) as an illustrative example: by donating gold, he becomes free from all sins and gains a rare, great place in Trivishtapa (heaven), reinforcing the Anushasana Parva’s emphasis on the fruits of charity and righteous conduct.
