सैनापत्येन त॑ देवा: पूजयित्वा गुहालयम्‌ । शशंसुर्विप्रकारं तं तस्मै तारककारितम्‌

Transliteration

senāpatyena taṁ devāḥ pūjayitvā guhālayam | śaśaṁsur viprakāraṁ taṁ tasmai tārakakāritam ||

Translation

Wika ni Bhishma: “Matapos parangalan siya ng mga diyos sa paghirang sa kanya bilang punong kumandante, pinuri nila sa tahanang yungib ang pambihirang gawang iyon—na isinakatuparan alang-alang sa pagwawakas ng panganib na dulot ni Tāraka.”
