Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
शक्ता हासि महीं कृत्स्नां वोढुं धारयितुं तथा । न हि ते किंचिदप्राप्पमन्यतो धारणादृते,“देवि! तुम सारी पृथ्वीको धारण करनेमें समर्थ हो, फिर इस गर्भको धारण करना तुम्हारे लिये कुछ असाध्य नहीं है”
śaktā hāsi mahīṁ kṛtsnāṁ voḍhuṁ dhārayituṁ tathā | na hi te kiṁcid aprāpyam anyato dhāraṇād ṛte |
Wika ni Bhīṣma: “O Diyosa, ganap kang may kakayahang magpasan at magtaguyod sa buong daigdig. Kaya ang pagdadala sa binhing ito ay hindi bagay na di-maabot para sa iyo—walang lampas sa iyo, maliban sa yaong magiging imposible kung wala ang mismong pagtaguyod.”
