Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
सुवर्णदाने च मया कथितास्ते गुणा विभो । तस्मात् सुवर्ण विप्रेभ्य: प्रयच्छ ददतां वर
suvarṇadāne ca mayā kathitās te guṇā vibho | tasmāt suvarṇa viprebhyaḥ prayaccha dadatāṃ vara prabho ||
“O makapangyarihan, naipaliwanag ko na sa iyo ang mga kagalingan at gantimpalang kaugnay ng pag-aalay ng ginto. Kaya, O panginoon—pinakamainam sa mga nagbibigay—ngayon ay ipagkaloob mo ang ginto bilang handog sa mga Brahmin.”
