Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
अपत्यं युवयोदेव बलवद् भविता विभो | तन्ूनं त्रिषु लोकेषु न किज्चिच्छेषयिष्यति
apatyaṁ yuvayor deva balavad bhavitā vibho | tan nūnaṁ triṣu lokeṣu na kiñcic cheṣayiṣyati ||
Wika ni Bhishma: “O banal na Panginoon, O makapangyarihan—ang supling na magmumula sa inyong dalawa ay magiging lubhang malakas. Tunay, sa tatlong daigdig ay wala itong iiwan na hindi mapapasailalim.”
