Bhīṣma highlights Vaiśvadeva as a key daily duty: a disciplined practice of offering and sharing that extends one’s responsibility beyond oneself, aligning household life with dharma through gratitude, hospitality, and care for all beings.
In Bhīṣma’s instruction to Yudhiṣṭhira on righteous conduct, he enumerates prescribed daily observances and identifies the third as the Vaiśvadeva rite, situating ritual practice within ethical living.
