The verse emphasizes ethical care and disciplined conduct: those who serve or assist must act according to rightful instruction, ensuring no harm or discomfort is caused, and their behavior should be exemplary and publicly accountable.
Bhishma addresses two persons responsible for moving or carrying him, instructing them to proceed slowly and comfortably, aligned with his will, so that he is not strained and so that the public can witness their proper conduct.
