पुष्पाणि तानि दृष्ट्वा तु तदाड़्जेन्द्रवराड़ना । भगिनीं चोदयामास पुष्पार्थे चारुलोचना

Transliteration

puṣpāṇi tāni dṛṣṭvā tu tadā rājendra-varāṅganā | bhaginīṁ codayāmāsa puṣpārthe cārulocanā ||

Translation

Wika ni Bhishma: Nang makita ang mga bulaklak na iyon, ang magandang reyna na may matang gaya ng lotus—pinakamataas sa mga babaing maharlika—ay hinimok ang kanyang kapatid na babae, na humiling na kumuha ng gayunding mga bulaklak.
