Vivāha-dharma: Kanyā-pradāna, Śulka, and Pāṇigrahaṇa-niṣṭhā (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४४)
विपुलस्य गुरौ वृत्तिं भक्तिमात्मनि तत्प्रभु: । धर्मे च स्थिरतां दृष्टवा साधु साध्वित्यभाषत
vipulasya gurau vṛttiṁ bhaktim ātmani tatprabhuḥ | dharme ca sthiratāṁ dṛṣṭvā sādhu sādhv ity abhāṣata ||
Sinabi ni Bhishma: Nang makita ng guro ang huwarang asal ni Vipula sa paglilingkod sa guro, ang kanyang tapat na debosyon sa sariling panginoon, at ang kanyang katatagan sa dharma, pinuri siya ng guro at nagsabi, “Magaling, magaling.”
भीष्म उवाच
True excellence is shown through disciplined conduct in service to one’s teacher, loyal devotion to one’s rightful master, and unwavering steadiness in dharma; such integrity naturally earns the approval of the wise.
Bhishma reports that Vipula’s teacher, observing Vipula’s proper behavior, devotion, and firmness in righteousness, openly commends him with the words “Well done, well done.”
