Vivāha-dharma: Kanyā-pradāna, Śulka, and Pāṇigrahaṇa-niṣṭhā (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४४)
विपुल उवाच अजितेन्द्रिय दुर्बुद्धे पापात्मक पुरन्दर । न चिरं पूजयिष्यन्ति देवास्त्वां मानुषास्तथा
vipula uvāca | ajitendriya durbuddhe pāpātmaka purandara | na ciraṁ pūjayiṣyanti devās tvāṁ mānuṣās tathā ||
Sinabi ni Vipula: “O Purandara, makasalanan ang iyong puso, baluktot ang iyong pag-unawa, at hindi mo mapigil ang iyong mga pandama. Kung mananatili ka sa ganyang kalagayan, ang mga diyos—gayundin ang mga tao—ay hindi magtatagal sa paggalang at pagsamba sa iyo.”
