Pūjya-namaskārya-prakaraṇa
On Those Worthy of Honor and Salutation
त॑ सहस्रावरे काले शक्रो द्रष्टमुपागमत् । तदेव च पुनर्वाक्यमुवाच बलवृत्रहा
taṁ sahasrāvare kāle śakro draṣṭum upāgamat | tad eva ca punar vākyam uvāca balavṛtrahā ||
Wika ni Bhīṣma: Nang halos maganap na ang isang libong taon, si Śakra (Indra), ang pumatay kay Vṛtra at panginoon ng mga diyos, ay muling dumating upang dalawin siya. At muli, inulit niya ang mismong mga salitang sinabi niya noon—muling idiniin ang usapin sa pagtatapos ng mahabang pagitan ng panahon.
