शनैश्वोत्सादितस्तत्र स्‍स्नानशालामुपागमत्‌ | भद्रासनं तततश्रित्रमृषिरन्वगमन्नवम्‌,फिर उसके उठानेपर वे धीरेसे वहाँ स्नानगृहमें गये। वहाँ ऋषिको एक विचित्र एवं नूतन चौकी प्राप्त हुई

śanaiśvotsāditaḥ tatra snānaśālām upāgamat | bhadrāsanaṃ tatra citram ṛṣir anvagamannavam ||

Sabi ni Bhīṣma: Nang siya’y marahang itinaas, dahan-dahan siyang nagtungo sa paliguan. Doon, ang pantas ay pinagkalooban ng isang mainam na upuan—kakaiba ang anyo at bagong yari—inihanda para sa kanya, na angkop sa magalang na pagtanggap.
