कृतयत्नाफलाश्रैव दृश्यन्ते शतशो नरा: । अयत्नेनैधमानाश्र दृश्यन्ते बहवो जना:

Transliteration

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | kṛtayatnāphalāś caiva dṛśyante śataśo narāḥ | ayatnenaiva dhanaṃ yeṣāṃ dṛśyante bahavo janāḥ ||

Translation

Wika ni Yudhiṣṭhira: “Nakikita ang daan-daang tao na walang bunga ang kanilang pagsisikap—kahit magpunyagi, hindi nila nakakamit ang hinahangad. At marami ring nakikita na ang yaman ay dumarami araw-araw kahit walang halos pagod o pagpupunyagi.”
