Shloka 83

कामदेव: कामपाल: कामी कान्तः कृतागम: । अनिर्देश्यवपुर्विष्णुर्वीरोडनन्तो धनंजय:

kāmadevaḥ kāmapālaḥ kāmī kāntaḥ kṛtāgamaḥ | anirdeśyavapur viṣṇur vīro 'nanto dhanañjayaḥ ||

Wika ni Bhīṣma: Siya’y tinatawag na Kāmadeva, ang dakilang panginoong namamahala sa lahat ng pagnanais na hinahangad ng mga sumusunod sa apat na layunin ng buhay; Kāmapāla, tagapagtupad at tagapangalaga ng mga hiling ng mga debotong inuudyok ng pagnanasa; Kāmī, yaong nananabik sa Kanyang mga minamahal; Kānta, may anyong lubhang kaakit-akit; Kṛtāgama, tagapaglikha at tagapagtatag ng mga Veda at śāstra; Anirdeśya-vapuḥ, na ang banal na katawan ay di-masaysay; Viṣṇu, ang Panginoong sumasaklaw sa lahat; Vīra, ang makapangyarihang may kababalaghang lakas; Ananta, walang hanggan sa anyo, kapangyarihan, karangalan, at mga katangian; at Dhanañjaya, ang nagwawagi ng yaman—na nagpakita bilang Arjuna sa pananakop ng apat na panig.
