Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)
ऋषयश्नचापि ते सर्वे नारदप्रमुखास्तदा । प्रतिगृह्माभ्यनन्दन्त तद्वाक््यं प्रतिपूज्य च,नारद आदि सम्पूर्ण महर्षि भी भीष्मजीके वचन सुनकर उनकी प्रशंसा करते हुए बहुत प्रसन्न हुए
ṛṣayaś cāpi te sarve nāradapramukhās tadā | pratigṛhya abhinandanta tad vākyaṃ pratipūjya ca ||
Noon, ang lahat ng mga rishi—na pinangungunahan ni Nārada—ay tumanggap din sa mga salita ni Bhīṣma nang may paggalang. Iginawad nila ang pagpupugay sa pahayag na iyon, pinuri, at nagalak, bilang pagsang-ayon sa payong-dharma na naibigay.
