Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)
दैतेया दानवेन्द्राश्ष महाकाया महाबला: । चक्राग्नौ क्षयमापन्ना दावाग्नौ शलभा इव
daiteyā dānavendrāś ca mahākāyā mahābalāḥ | cakrāgnau kṣayam āpannā dāvāgnau śalabhā iva ||
Wika ni Bhīṣma: “Maraming makapangyarihang Daitya at mga pangunahing Danava—malalaki ang anyo at matitindi ang lakas—ang napuksa sa naglalagablab na apoy ng cakra ni Kṛṣṇa, gaya ng mga gamu-gamo na nilalamon ng sunog sa gubat.”
