Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)

कल्योत्थानरतिर्नित्यं गहशुश्रूषणे रता । सुसम्मृष्टक्षया चैव गोशकृत्कृतलेपना

kalyotthānaratir nityaṁ gṛhaśuśrūṣaṇe ratā | susammṛṣṭakṣayā caiva gośakṛtkṛtalepanā ||

Wika ni Mahādeva: “Yaong araw-araw ay nalulugod na bumangon sa wastong oras, masigasig sa maingat na paglilingkod at pamamahala ng tahanan, pinananatiling winalis at maayos ang bahay, at nililinis ito sa pamamagitan ng pagpapahid ng dumi ng baka—ang gayong babae ang larawan ng disiplinang asal ng isang marangal na maybahay. Sa matatag na dharma ng tahanan, siya’y pinagkakalooban ng bunga ng satī-dharma.”
