कल्मषापहर-कीर्तनम् / Kīrtana for the Removal of Impurity
लोष्टै: स्तम्भैरायुधैर्वा जन्तून् बाधति शोभने । हिंसार्थ निकृतिप्रज्ञ: प्रोद्ेजयति चैव ह
loṣṭaiḥ stambhair āyudhair vā jantūn bādhati śobhane | hiṃsārthaṃ nikṛtiprajñaḥ prodejayati caiva ha ||
Wika ni Maheshvara: “O marikit, ang taong baluktot ang pag-unawa ay nang-aapi sa mga nilalang—maging sa pamamagitan ng tipak ng lupa, ng pamalo o poste, o ng mga sandata. Sa hangaring manakit, sinasadya niyang mang-udyok at magpasiklab ng karahasan.”
श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच
Deliberately harming creatures—whether with crude objects or weapons—and provoking conflict is a mark of a corrupted, malicious intellect; such conduct is ethically blameworthy and opposed to dharma.
Śrīmaheśvara addresses a woman (“O fair one”) and describes the behavior of a cruel person: he injures living beings using whatever means available and actively incites violence, highlighting the moral fault in such aggression.
