जनश्न विमना: सर्वो5भवत्‌ त्राससमन्वित: । निमीलिते भूतपतौ नष्टसूर्य इवाभवत्‌

Transliteration

janaḥ sa vimanaḥ sarvo 'bhavat trāsasamanvitaḥ | nimīlite bhūtapatau naṣṭasūrya ivābhavat ||

Translation

Sinabi ni Nārada: Noon, ang lahat ng tao ay nanlumo at sinakmal ng takot. Nang ipikit ng Panginoon ng mga nilalang ang kanyang mga mata, ang daigdig ay wari bang naglaho ang araw—nalugmok sa dilim na bunga ng pangamba at pagkawala ng nagtatanggol na kaayusan.
