इति श्रीमहाभारते अनुशासनपर्वणि दानधर्मपर्वणि भोज्याभोज्यान्नकथनं नाम पज्चत्रिंशदधिकशततमो<ध्याय:

iti śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi dānadharmaparvaṇi bhojyābhojyānnakathanaṃ nāma pañcatriṃśad-adhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ

Sa gayon, sa Śrī Mahābhārata, sa loob ng Anuśāsana Parva—lalo na sa bahaging Dāna-dharma—nagtatapos ang ika-isandaan at tatlumpu’t limang kabanata na pinamagatang “Ang Paglalahad tungkol sa Pagkaing Nararapat at Hindi Nararapat Kainin.” Ipinapakita ng pangwakas na kolofon na ito ang aral bilang gabay-etikal: ang pagkakawanggawa at wastong asal ay hindi maihihiwalay sa pag-unawa sa kadalisayan, pagpipigil, at sa dapat tanggapin o iwasan bilang pagkain.
