Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
गौर: श्यामस्तथा कृष्ण: पाण्डुरो धूमलोहित: । विकृताक्षो विशालाक्षो दिग्वासा: सर्ववासक:
gauraḥ śyāmas tathā kṛṣṇaḥ pāṇḍuro dhūmalohitaḥ | vikṛtākṣo viśālākṣo digvāsāḥ sarvavāsakaḥ ||
Wika ni Vāsudeva: “Nagpapakita Siya sa maraming anyo—kung minsan maputi, kung minsan kayumanggi, kung minsan maitim, kung minsan maputla; kung minsan kulay-usok o mapulang tila tanso. Kung minsan waring baluktot ang Kanyang mga mata, at kung minsan nama’y maringal sa ganda ng malalapad na mata. Kung minsan Siya’y nakikitang walang saplot, at kung minsan nama’y nabibihisan ng sari-saring kasuotan.”
