Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
एवमुक्ता तदा कृष्ण माता मे सुतवत्सला । मूर्थन्याप्राय गोविन्द सबाष्पाकुललोचना
evam uktā tadā kṛṣṇa mātā me sutavatsalā | mūrdhny āprāya govinda sabāṣpākulalocanā ||
Nang masabi ko iyon, ang aking ina—malambing sa pag-ibig ng isang ina—ay napuno ng luha. O Govinda, lumapit siya, idiniin ang mukha sa aking ulo na wari’y sinisinghot ang halimuyak nito; naliliman ng pag-iyak ang kanyang mga mata, at hinaplos niya ang aking mga bisig at katawan. Pagkaraan, sa mababang tinig na may dalamhati, siya’y nagsalita.
