पितरस्तेन गच्छन्ति सोमलोकमसंशयम्‌ | जो नदी या तालाबके तटसे अपने सींगोंद्वारा कीचड़ उछालकर खड़ा होता है, उससे वृषोत्सर्ग करनेवालेके पितर निस्संदेह चन्द्रलोकमें जाते हैं

pitaraḥ tena gacchanti somalokam asaṁśayam |

Sinabi ni Śakra: “Sa pamamagitan ng gawaing iyon, ang mga Pitṛ (mga ninuno) ay napaparoon sa daigdig ni Soma, walang alinlangan.” Sa diwa ng talata, pinupuri ang bisa ng vṛṣotsarga—ang pagpapalaya ng toro: kahit yaong torong nakatayo sa pampang ng ilog o lawa at itinatalsik ang putik sa pamamagitan ng mga sungay, dahil sa pagpapalayang iyon, ang mga ninuno ng nagpalaya ay tiyak na makararaos sa daigdig ng Buwan.
