Adhyāya 122 — Śruta-vṛtta-yukta Brāhmaṇa and the Ethics of Dāna

कीट उवाच इदं तदतुलं स्थानमीप्सितं दशभिर्गुणै: । यदहं प्राप्य कीटत्वमागतो राजपुत्रताम्
kīṭa uvāca idaṃ tad atulaṃ sthānam īpsitaṃ daśabhir guṇaiḥ | yad ahaṃ prāpya kīṭatvam āgato rājaputratām ||
Wika ng Uod: “O Bhagavan! Ngayon ay natamo ko ang kalagayang walang kapantay—na minimithi kong marating kahit matapos pa ang sampung buhay. Sa iyong biyaya, bagama’t dahil sa sarili kong pagkukulang ay bumagsak ako sa anyong uod, ngayo’y naabot ko ang katayuan ng isang prinsipe.”
