अतन्र ते वर्तयिष्यामि पुरावृत्तमिदं नूप । द्वैधायनस्य संवादं कीटस्य च युधिष्ठिर

Transliteration

atantra te vartayiṣyāmi purāvṛttam idaṃ nṛpa | dvaidhāyanasya saṃvādaṃ kīṭasya ca yudhiṣṭhira ||

Translation

Wika ni Bhishma: “O hari, O Yudhishthira, isasalaysay ko sa iyo nang walang pag-aatubili ang tanyag na sinaunang pangyayaring ito—ang pag-uusap nina Dvaidhayana (Vyasa) at ng isang uod. Makinig ka, sapagkat ito’y may kinalaman sa dharma at wastong asal.”
