Kīṭopākhyāna: Prajā-pālana as Kṣatra-vrata and the Attainment of Brāhmaṇya
इति श्रीमहाभारते अनुशासनपर्वणि दानधर्मपर्वणि अहिंसाफलकथने षोडशाधिकशततमोड<ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi dānadharmaparvaṇi ahiṃsāphalakathane ṣoḍaśādhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
Sa gayon nagwakas, sa Śrī Mahābhārata, sa loob ng Anuśāsana Parva—lalo na sa bahaging Dharma ng Pagbibigay—ang kabanatang ito na nagpapaliwanag ng mga bunga ng ahiṃsā (di-karahasan): ang ika-isang daan at ikalabing-anim na kabanata.
भीष्म उवाच
This line functions as a colophon, identifying the chapter’s ethical focus: the exposition of the fruits (spiritual and moral results) of ahiṃsā (non-violence) within the broader teaching on dāna-dharma (the dharma of giving).
