मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
अश्रिनोर्मरुतां चैव सुखेष्वभिरत: सदा । अनभि्शज्ञिश्व दुःखानां विमानवरमास्थित:
aśrīṇor marutāṃ caiva sukheṣv abhirataḥ sadā | anabhiśajñiś ca duḥkhānāṃ vimānavaram āsthitaḥ ||
Wika ni Bhīṣma: “Siya’y laging nakatuon sa ligaya, na wari’y nasa ilalim ng pag-iingat ng mga Marut. Di niya nakikilala ang pagdurusa, at umupo siya sa isang napakahusay na sasakyang panghimpapawid.”
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights the idea that sustained enjoyment and freedom from suffering are portrayed as outcomes of divine protection and accumulated merit, symbolized by association with the Maruts and ascent to a splendid vimāna.
Bhīṣma describes a figure who lives continually in comfort, untouched by sorrow, and then mounts a superior celestial vehicle—an image commonly used to indicate exalted status or heavenly transition.
