नहुषोपाख्यानम्—दीपदान-धूप-बलीकर्म-प्रशंसा
Nahūṣa Episode and the Commendation of Lamp-Gifting and Household Offerings
भीष्म उवाच एवं तयो: संवदतो: क्रियास्तस्य महात्मन: । सर्वा एव प्रवर्तन्ते या दिव्या याश्व मानुषी:
bhīṣma uvāca evaṃ tayoḥ saṃvadatoḥ kriyās tasya mahātmanaḥ | sarvā eva pravartante yā divyā yāś ca mānuṣīḥ ||
Sinabi ni Bhīṣma: “O Hari, habang nag-uusap nang ganito ang mga pantas na sina Bhṛgu at Agastya, sa sambahayan ng dakilang-loob na si Nahusha ay nagpapatuloy ang lahat ng gawain—maging ang mga ritwal na pang-diyos at ang mga karaniwang gawi ng tao.”
