Āloka-dāna (Dīpa-dāna), Sumanas–Dhūpa–Dīpa Phala: Manu–Suvarṇa and Śukra–Bali Exempla

न तु श्मशानसम्भूता देवतायतनोद्भवा: । संनयेत्‌ पुष्टियुक्तेषु विवाहेषु रह:सु च,श्मशान तथा जीर्ण-शीर्ण देवालयोंमें पैदा हुए फूलोंका पौष्टिक कर्म, विवाह तथा एकान्त विहारमें उपयोग नहीं करना चाहिये

na tu śmaśānasambhūtā devatāyatanodbhavāḥ | sannayet puṣṭiyukteṣu vivāheṣu rahaḥsu ca ||

Wika ni Śukra: Ang mga bulaklak na tumubo sa pook ng pagsusunog ng bangkay, o yaong sumibol sa loob ng nasasakupan ng dambana ng isang diyos, ay hindi dapat gamitin sa mga gawaing naglalayong magpalakas at magpala ng pag-unlad—gaya ng mga ritwal ng pagpapalakas, kasalan, o lihim na paglalayaw at pagnanasa. Itinuturo nito na kahit ang kaaya-ayang bagay tulad ng bulaklak ay may mga tuntunin ng kadalisayan ayon sa pinagmulan: ang nauugnay sa pook ng kamatayan o sa sagradong pook na nakalaan ay hindi dapat ilihis sa makamundong ligaya o sa mga okasyong naghahangad ng kasaganaan.
